I started reading this book while I was on vacation last week. So far I am really enjoying the characters, especially Cami and the extended story of her fashion business that she is trying to get off the ground. *NOTE* there is a lot of explicit language and themes in THE PROTECTOR book. I like to put a rating on the books I place on my site similar to a movie rating and this would be rated “R” in my opinion.

I love the chemistry between the main characters.

I love the sometimes ridiculous situations characters in romance books find themselves in, and still manage to end up together and happy in the end.

I love that they usually have a “feel good” story line.

I love romance novels because, if well written, it brings emotions and thoughts to the forefront and as you keep reading – your part of that world. In today’s troubled time, escapism can be a blessing, even ifs its just for little while. “The Protector” looks like its going to be a great read and I’m always thankful to find a book that provides a good story line as well as has you thinking about the characters – long after you’ve read the last page.

I like that there always happy endings but I also like the story that gets them there.

Romance novels is a guilty pleasure for me.

I love reading about the whole process of how he wins her heart – especially if she’s one of those that’s been scorned and hard to get close to

I love romance novels because they take me to a place where I would love to be (in a romantic situation). I have been a widow from a really young age and just have not had the desire for another man in my life so the romance novels feel that gap.
