The Secret Life of Pets, a comedy about the lives our pets lead when we leave for work or school. Max, voiced by Louis C.K., is a loyal terrier living a perfectly happy existence until his owner, Katie (Ellie Kemper) brings home Duke (Eric Stonestreet) a big, boisterous mutt she finds at the shelter. When Max and his unruly new “roommate” slip away from their dog-walker, they find themselves lost in the urban jungle of New York City. In an attempt to stay ahead of animal control and a rebel band of abandoned pets led by an unhinged bunny named Snowball (Kevin Hart), they put aside their differences to survive the epic journey back home.

This is SUCH a fun movie.  Your family will love watching it again and again.  There are so many laugh out loud scenes and the pet characters each have their own personalities that make them enjoyable to watch.  My favorite ‘pet’ is the cat Chloe while my daughter loved Gidget the Pomeranian dog and my husband naturally thought Snowball the leader of the ‘flushed pets’ was the best.  So you can see there is something in Secret Life of Pets for everyone 🙂

  4. I think she is the one that pulls the dish towels down & drags them around the house! Once she completes that daily, she naps!

  7. My crazy labradoodle searches desperately for random papers that she can shred. It’s her favorite passtime.

  9. I don’t have a fun answer because I know my dog, Cooper, sits on the couch staring out the window waiting for us. My cat, Hunter, is a nut and steals things from us while we’re gone 🙂

  10. I’m pretty sure my dogs just sit around waiting for me to come back. They do destroy things sometimes, if they’re anxious.

  11. Pretty sure I know what they do: they find new places to mark their territory when I’m not looking!

  13. My pet pretty much is stuck in a kennel when we leave, but I’m sure he’s trying to figure a way out

  19. I think they sleep a lot and play little games with themselves, like tossing their own ball and then fetching it.

  22. I actually have a camera so I can watch them, they just sleep the day away. Sounds kinda nice!

  27. I think my dogs sleep a lot and watch the world through the window.

  31. My pets don’t leave the house. They are tortoises, so I think they are just sleeping…or spying.

  33. I think they lay by the window and wait for me to come back! Sometimes, they like to shred toilet paper though – which I don’t appreciate!

  47. I’m a dog trainer and own a dog daycare. I’d put this on repeat in the lobby!

  48. we don’t have any pets at this time. but when I did I know my cat would sleep on my pillow and my dog would chew up tissue paper if he could find it.

  49. I think when we’re gone, our cat gets on the counter and looks for things to get into. She knows she is not supposed to be up there, but does it anyway.

  76. I think my dog just sleeps all day – probably on pieces of furniture he’s not supposed to be on.

  77. My dog sleeps and eats things she shouldn’t. We had to get a pet camera to keep her company and its helped with the chewing.

  83. when we leave, I think our guinea pig tortures our dog. There is no way the dog can remotely get near her cage but when we come home the guinea pig has thrown stuff all over the floor like she is antagonizing the dog because it never happens when we are home.

  88. I know if I leave and the bunny is out he gets on my bed and goes under the covers and digs the sheets

  91. My little dog Abby likes to make a cozy nest in the bed when I am out. I often come home and find her that way!

  92. We don’t have any pets right now. I think if we did they would either play or sleep. Hehe.

  96. When I leave the house, my cat stands guard against all those who would do us harm.

  98. We have a black cat named Ozzy and a white and orange long haired cat named Buddy. I know that they get up on our dinning room table when we are gone. I can imagine that they do all sort’s of other bad things when we are not home too.

  101. I think that they get up in the windows and on the counter and sleep…that way when we get home the Dayton 500 that runs through my living room gets to begin!

  103. My fur baby Miylo rips up everything he can find in the bathroom trash can if I don’t shut the door.
