Chocolate Chip Mocha Tarts
Makes up to 20 tarts depending on size of pan you use
• Preheat oven to 350ºF
• Grease standard muffin tin or mini muffin tin (I used a 12 well brownie tin)
Ingredients
1 pound log chocolate chip cookie dough, your own recipe or store-bought cookie dough
1 pint coffee ice cream (Kroger Private Selection Brand Café Con Leche is excellent!)
Chocolate Chips, Whipped cream and/or fudge sauce for toppings and garnish
1. Cut dough into 1/4 inch thick slices and press into prepared muffin cups. Bake tarts in preheated oven for 10 to 14 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Let cool in tins on rack for at least 5 minutes. Remove from tins and let cool completely on rack.
2. Place a scoop of ice cream on top of each cookie tart. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Garnish with whipped cream and fudge sauce if desired. Serve immediately.
